Burger King ended its collaboration with streamer Joaquín Domínguez, known as El Xokas, on Thursday following his controversial statements.
The fast-food chain removed the menu linked to the content creator from its website. In a statement, Burger King said the streamer's remarks did not represent the brand's values and apologized to those who might have been offended.
El Xokas had sparked controversy days earlier with comments about actress Ester Expósito. He also faced criticism for insults during a live broadcast.
Deputy Àgueda Micó raised the case in Congress last week. The streamer canceled a scheduled live stream for this afternoon.
