Cassandra García wins Miss México 2025 crown

Cassandra García Olea, from Morelos, was crowned Miss México 2025 on November 30 at the Auditorio Santiago de Monterrey, Nuevo León. The 23-year-old, with a degree in International Relations and Political Science, will represent Mexico at Miss World 2026. Her win succeeds Maryely Leal, who handed over the crown during the ceremony.

The Miss México 2025 grand final took place on November 30 at the Auditorio Santiago in Nuevo León, with hundreds of attendees and thousands watching via broadcast. The jury assessed participants in communication tests, social impact, runway walks, and interviews, selecting Cassandra García Olea as the winner. From Morelos, García Olea is 23 years old and holds a degree in International Relations and Political Science, while pursuing a postgraduate in International Business Relations. She describes herself as disciplined and committed in modeling and beauty-related fields.

The official Miss México organization celebrated her win on social media: "México… ya tienes a tu reina. @cassandra_gaol. Hoy presentamos a la mujer que llevará tu nombre, tu historia y tu corazón al escenario más grande del planeta: Miss World. Ella es la nueva Miss México, la reina que se convierte en voz, en propósito y en esperanza para millones. Su paso no solo estará lleno de belleza, sino de significado, de entrega y de sueños que nacen desde lo más profundo de este país. México, celebra… Tu reina ya está aquí." They further noted: "She is the new Miss México, the queen who becomes a voice, a purpose, and hope for millions. Her journey will not only be filled with beauty, but with meaning, dedication, and dreams born from the depths of this country."

García Olea succeeds Maryely Leal, who posted on social media: "It has been an honor to carry you on my chest, México. I represented you with my message of life, my intact values, and the dignity I never let go. Miss México, thank you for so much." The organization thanked Leal: "Thank you for a reign that marked our history with elegance, strength, and an immense heart. We are deeply proud of your journey in Miss World, where you demonstrated your essence, dedication, and what it truly means to be a queen. Your reign does not end… it transforms and continues with you, wherever you go."

As a prize, the winner gains the right to represent Mexico at Miss World 2026, professional contracts, a preparation program, and sponsor gifts. During the ceremony, Esmeralda Meza was also crowned Miss México Cosmo 2026 from Querétaro, and Isabel Zamora as Miss México Supranational 2027 from Jalisco.
