The delegation comprises 51 male and 19 female athletes, all amateurs, with 62 having prior Games experience. Their ages range from 18 to 40, averaging 27. This marks China's largest and most comprehensive overseas Winter Paralympics team.

Para cross-country skier and Para biathlon competitor Liu Zixu said: "It will be my second Winter Paralympics. I'm happy that I can continue to show myself on the biggest stage." He added: "After training and technical and tactical acclimation, I hope to push my limits for even better results at these Games." Liu won China's first gold at the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympics.

The Games are expected to feature more than 600 athletes from 52 countries and regions in 79 events.
