The Claremorris Winter League Showjumping Final took place on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Claremorris Equestrian Centre in Ireland. This event capped off a two-month series of training and jumping sessions held throughout January and February, attracting a strong turnout of riders.
In the Starter Stakes section, young and new riders showcased excellent performances with clear rounds. Notable participants included Maya Murphy on Prince, Susan Mallon on Liadh, Joss Mortimer on Mini, Ruby Connell on Dougoul, Abbie Mullaney on Henry, Aidan Molloy on Bubbles, Jack Connolly on Gale, Emily Goggins on Mini, and Clara Dunne on Tia.
The 50cm Newcomers Final was won by Emily Goggins from Claremorris on Dougal. In the 60cm Newcomers Final, Sophie McElroy from Ballaghaderren on Homer secured first place with the fastest clear round of the day. Sophie McElroy and Homer also took the Overall Newcomers Championship title, with Emily Goggins as Reserve Champion.
The Overall Open Championship went to Lizzie Naughton on Charlie Brown, who completed a clear round in 35.47 seconds. Rachael Ryder on Aldo and Moya Canavan on Basil finished second and third, respectively. Other strong showings came from Catherine Ferrie, Lizzie Naughton on Finn, and Ciara Hanley on Elsa.
