Dangote Industries Limited has launched a whistleblowing program offering cash rewards for reports of illegal use of its trucks. The initiative targets unauthorized transport of goods and persons.
Dangote Industries Limited announced the program in a statement issued in Lagos on July 12, 2026. It offers a N500,000 reward for credible information that leads to arrests or recovery of unauthorized cargo.
The company specified permitted loads for each subsidiary. Dangote Cement trucks may carry only cement, limestone, high-grade gypsum, coal, and clinker. Dangote Sugar Refinery trucks are limited to sugar products. NASCON Allied Industries trucks handle Dangote Salt and DanQ Seasoning. Dangote Packaging vehicles transport bags and packaging materials. Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals trucks move polypropylene products, while Dangote Fertiliser Limited vehicles haul urea fertilizer.
