Digital system in courts enables efficient service provision

Federal Supreme Court President Ato Tewodros Mihret stated that the digital system established in courts can provide efficient services. This system allows tracking of cases from filing to judgment.

Addis Ababa, February 27, 2024 - Federal Supreme Court President Ato Tewodros Mihret, in an interview with Fana Media Corporation, stated that the digital system established in courts provides an opportunity for efficient service delivery.

Ato Tewodros explained that this system tracks judicial processes from case filing to judgment. It is currently implemented in federal and regional courts. Efforts are focused on expanding digital system applications to less accessible court locations to enhance practicality.

Case file management procedures will soon be integrated into this system. Additionally, work is underway to make the appeal system technology-based in the future. The system addresses the previous situation where cases were scattered across various areas due to physical reasons, now enabling digital tracking.
