The Apparel Export Council of Egypt is organizing the participation of 15 Egyptian companies at the MAGIC Show in Las Vegas from February 17 to 19, 2026, to strengthen exports to the United States, Egypt's largest market for ready-made garments.

The Apparel Export Council of Egypt (AEC) is organizing the participation of 15 Egyptian companies in the MAGIC Show in Las Vegas, in cooperation with the Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, to strengthen Egypt's presence in its largest export market. In 2025, the U.S. accounted for 39% of Egypt's ready-made garment exports.

AEC Chairperson Fadel Marzouk stated that the delegation aims to expand export opportunities and enhance trade relations with international buyers. The MAGIC Show is one of the most prominent global exhibitions in the fashion and apparel industry, bringing together manufacturers, brands, and buyers from around the world. It is held twice annually.

Sherine Hosny, Executive Director of the Export Council and head of the Egyptian delegation, described the event as an ideal platform for exchanging expertise and strengthening commercial partnerships. She emphasized that the U.S. remains the most important export destination for Egyptian ready-made garments. Hosny added that the exhibition provides participants with the chance to explore the latest trends and innovations in the apparel industry and to engage with major international buyers.

She said the event will help boost Egypt's garment exports by creating new avenues for cooperation with global companies and promoting Egyptian products in international markets. Hosny also highlighted ongoing efforts to open new markets in coordination with Egypt's commercial representation offices worldwide, despite global trade challenges.

According to AEC data, Egyptian ready-made garment exports grew across multiple international markets in 2025. Exports to the United States increased by 12%, reaching approximately $1.33bn, accounting for around 39% of the sector's total exports. In December 2025 alone, exports to the U.S. totalled $146m, marking a 27% year-on-year rise.
