Endrick, the 19-year-old Brazilian forward, said on Tuesday (2) that he plans to tell his son about his participation in the 2026 World Cup, but also wants the child to know him beyond football.
In a press conference at the team base in Basking Ridge, Endrick said he is grateful for his family, including wife Gabriely Miranda and the son they are expecting.
He added that he hopes to share personal stories with the boy, not only about his football career. The player also said he will sleep like a baby on Saturday night ahead of Sunday’s round-of-16 match against Norway.
Endrick praised coach Carlo Ancelotti and stressed the importance of humility, crediting God for his achievements. He came off the bench for injured Lucas Paquetá in Monday’s (29) 2-1 win over Japan.
