Indonesia's women's national baseball team finished seventh at the BFA Asian Cup 2025 in Hangzhou, China. They defeated Thailand 16-10 in the match for seventh place. This marks an improvement from their eighth-place finish in 2023.

The BFA Asian Cup 2025 took place in Hangzhou, China, concluding on Friday (October 31, 2025). Indonesia's women's national baseball team competed in a tough Group B alongside South Korea, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Japan.

In their opening match on Monday (October 27), Indonesia lost 3-17 to South Korea. They rebounded on Tuesday (October 28) with an 18-3 victory over Sri Lanka. However, on Wednesday (October 29), they fell 9-11 to the Philippines, and on Thursday (October 30), suffered a 0-34 defeat to Japan.

In the seventh-place playoff against Thailand, Indonesia won 16-10 over seven innings, securing a better position than their eighth place in 2023. The team qualified for the main tournament by topping the April qualifiers, ahead of India, Pakistan, and Thailand.

Although they failed to qualify for the Women's Baseball World Cup due to group stage results, this achievement highlights progress in women's baseball in Indonesia.
