Initiative Africa (IA), an Ethiopian resident charity supporting vulnerable communities and local organizations, is inviting qualified audit firms for the external audit of its FY 2025 financial statements. The audit will follow Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) standards, with an option to extend services for the next two fiscal years.
Initiative Africa, based in Addis Ababa, is an Ethiopian resident charity focused on supporting vulnerable communities and local organizations. This call for external audit proposals requires submissions of sealed technical and financial proposals in person from November 5 to 10, 2025, during working hours, to the Senior Administrative & Finance Manager at Lucky Building, 5th Floor, Addis Ababa. The deadline is November 10, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Eligible audit firms must provide a valid professional license for 2017/2018 EC, TIN and VAT certificates, and demonstrated experience in NGO audits. The scope of work includes reviewing approximately 10 files of accounting documents, financial analysis, field verification as needed, and delivering a management letter along with a consolidated financial report.
