Coritiba and Internacional drew 2-2 on Saturday in the opening match of the 15th round of the Brazilian Championship at Couto Pereira stadium. Lavega and Rodrigo Moledo scored for the hosts while Rafael Borré and Félix Torres netted for the visitors.
The result left Coritiba in eighth place with 20 points and Internacional in tenth with 18 points.
In the first half Coritiba took the lead after 28 minutes when Lavega finished a long ball from Josué. Internacional had more possession but lacked precision in front of goal.
Internacional equalized early in the second half through Rafael Borré after 23 minutes. Coritiba regained the advantage with a header from Rodrigo Moledo at the 39-minute mark. In stoppage time at the 51st minute Félix Torres leveled the score after goalkeeper Pedro Rangel failed to hold a shot from Vitinho.
