National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reported on the national security and public order situation to President Prabowo Subianto during a limited meeting in Jakarta on Thursday.
The meeting took place at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the report covered the Kamtibmas situation across various regions as well as steps by the police to maintain national stability and support the government's development agenda.
Kapolri also conveyed police readiness to hold a series of events for Hari Bhayangkara 2026, which peaks on July 1. Various social and community service activities across Indonesia have been prepared to strengthen ties between the police and the public.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi. Hari Bhayangkara is commemorated every July 1 as the birthday of the Indonesian National Police.
