Exeter-based recruitment agency Konker organized a charity padel tournament that brought together 12 businesses from the South West. The event at City Padel Exeter raised £900 to support people affected by cancer in Devon. Participants emphasized fun, connection, and giving back over competition.
The tournament, hosted at City Padel Exeter, united local businesses for a day focused on sport and fundraising. Players of varying abilities participated, with the primary goals being participation, community building, and supporting FORCE Cancer Charity's work in providing practical, emotional, and wellbeing assistance to cancer patients and their families across Devon.
The initiative successfully collected £900, which will directly aid FORCE's ongoing efforts in the region. Maddie Cadman from Konker expressed pride in the event, stating: “We’re so proud to have brought local businesses together for such a brilliant day. The atmosphere was fantastic and knowing that the event is helping FORCE continue their vital work makes it even more meaningful.
