La Mansión VIP began streaming on Sunday, April 12, on the HotSpanish Vlogs YouTube channel. Influencer HotSpanish divided the 16 participants into two teams: Blue Room with Naim Darrechi, Agustín Fernández, Eli Esparza, Queen Buenrostro, Rocío Sánchez, Suavecito, Bruno Espino, and Jessica Sodi; and Red Room with Katy Cardona, Alfredo Adame, Aída Merlano, Niurka Marcos, Carlos Alberto, Aldo Arturo, and El Mazaclán.
Jessica Sodi, 28, from Guadalajara, joined as a surprise. An adult film actress who debuted in 2021 with SexMex, she has filmed over 60 movies and now produces her own content. "I feel very excited, nervous, but I'm coming with everything," she said upon entering.
The format features daily challenges: food competition on Monday, VIP room on Tuesday, powers on Wednesday, room steal on Thursday, points and party on Friday, nominations on Saturday, and elimination on Sunday. Viewers vote via YouTube super chat.
HotSpanish announced the winner will take home 2 million pesos after a month of cohabitation. The show aims to replicate dynamics from realities like La Casa de los Famosos México.
