PDT president Carlos Lupi expressed dissatisfaction with the Senate ticket formation in Fernando Haddad's coalition for São Paulo governor.
Lupi stated that the party expected the first suplência as compensation for lack of representation in the ticket led by Haddad, from PT. The vice is Márcio França, from PSB, and the Senate candidacies are Simone Tebet, from PSB, and Marina Silva, from REDE, with suplentes indicated by PSOL and PT.
The leader said there was an agreement with allies for PDT to indicate the suplentes, but the choice of Djalma Nery, from PSOL, as Marina's suplente caught the party by surprise. Lupi protested to Haddad, Marina and Tebet.
He described the situation as humiliation and stated that PDT will conduct legal analysis on the possibility of launching its own Senate candidates. Support for Haddad is not at risk, according to the report.
