Man arrested in Palermo with over 300 drug doses ready for distribution

National Police captured a man on the Palermo-Teruel road carrying two bags of marijuana, 245 doses of bazuco and 70 doses of cocaine.

The operation took place on July 27, 2026, at kilometer 1 of the road linking Palermo with Teruel. National Police officers found the substances hidden in the detainee's belongings during registration and control duties.

The arrested man was handed over to the competent authority for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics under article 376 of the Penal Code.

Colonel Alex Andrés Muñoz Ausecha, acting commander of the Neiva Metropolitan Police, stated: “The fight against microtrafficking continues to be a priority for the National Police. These results are the product of the permanent presence of our officers on the roads and strategic sectors, preventing these substances from reaching the streets and affecting our children, youth and communities.”
