Maricopa County home and landscape show opens in Glendale

The Maricopa County Home and Landscape Show begins on March 6, 2026, in Glendale, featuring over 1,000 booths on topics including landscaping and home remodeling. Event coordinator Brianna Spark highlighted the team's excitement after a year of preparation for this large-scale gathering. The weekend event includes workshops, pet adoptions, and live entertainment to engage visitors of all ages.

The Maricopa County Home and Landscape Show runs from Friday, March 6, through Sunday, March 8, 2026, at a venue in Glendale. Organized by a team of eight, the event fills three levels with hundreds of vendors offering expertise in landscaping, plants, kitchen and bath remodeling, decor, and painting.

Brianna Spark, the special events coordinator, said, “We’re a small team of just eight and we’ve been working over a year for this show.” She added, “There’s a lot going on and we’re all so excited.” Key attractions include hands-on gardening workshops and question-and-answer sessions with master gardeners from the University of Arizona. The Living Greenshouse area features make-and-take crafts, free consultations, upcycled billboard bags, and Fur-ever Pet Adoptions in partnership with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control.

This year's focal points are the new Local Artisan Market and Plant Pavilion. The market showcases items from small local businesses, such as custom hats, handmade pet products, on-site engraving, original fine art, and handcrafted home decor. The Plant Pavilion offers houseplants, succulents, exotic varieties, trees, soil, tools, and garden decor. Spark noted, “Something cool and new that we’re doing is highlighting something special at each show.”

Pet adoptions occur from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, with opportunities to donate items like dog treats, leashes, collars, and toys for free admission tickets. Live entertainment includes performances by 11-year-old local guitarist and singer Justin Caterina, who plays covers of AC/DC and Metallica, as well as a magic show. Spark described Caterina: “He plays these AC/DC covers, Metallica and a lot of different classic rock covers — and he’s just shredding it.”

Admission is $10 for adults, free for children 12 and younger, and $5 for seniors 55 and older on the first day with ID. Discounts apply to college students, military members, first responders, and teachers. Parking is free throughout the event. The show typically draws about 25,000 guests and is one of five annual Maricopa County home shows that collectively attract over 100,000 visitors. Spark advised attendees, “The Home Show is big and it’s something that you can spend all day doing,” recommending comfortable shoes.
