Entering the weekend, six teams remained undefeated in Division I college basketball, but Michigan's upset loss to Wisconsin as a 19.5-point favorite reduced that number to five. The Wolverines, previously ranked No. 2, dropped to No. 4 in the second AP Top 25 poll of 2026. Kansas exited the poll after falling to 1-2 in Big 12 play, including an 86-75 loss to West Virginia despite a comeback win over TCU earlier in the week. The poll reflects results through Sunday, highlighting the early intensity of conference schedules.
