A man in his 40s died in a motorcycle crash on the E6 between Malmö and Vellinge late Friday evening. Two cars were involved and both drivers are suspected of crimes.
The alarm reached police at 23:15. The crash occurred at Västra Klagstorp as the vehicles headed toward Trelleborg.
The motorcyclist died from his injuries. His relatives have been notified. Three people traveled in the cars but none required hospital care.
Police spokesperson Katarina Rusin said the accident happened in connection with an on-ramp. Both drivers are suspected of causing another person's death. One is also suspected of careless driving in traffic. None have been detained.
The road was closed southbound but reopened shortly before 02.
