Neiva celebrates 414 years with official ceremonies and tributes

The city of Neiva marked its 414 years of history through ceremonies, parades and awards in the capital of Huila.

Various official, cultural, religious and commemorative acts were held to highlight Neiva's growth and traditions.

The decoration ceremony with the Diego de Ospina y Medinilla medal took place at the Asamblea Departamental. Patricia Walteros Perdomo received the Empresarial Merit award.

Cultural Merit recognized couples preserving the Bambuco Tradicional. Club Rotario Neiva Las Ceibas received Civic Merit and Jaime Ricardo Guio Ordóñez received Educational Merit.
