Led by the Women’s Padel Association in partnership with the International Padel Players Association, the event highlights the country’s commitment to advancing female athletics. It aims to create professional pathways for women in the sport while engaging the broader community.

The Women’s Padel Series represents a groundbreaking initiative in professional women’s padel, debuting in Manila with the FIP Silver Women’s Padel Manila tournament. Scheduled for March 2026, this event is the first global platform dedicated entirely to elite female players, underscoring the Philippines’ rising role in international sports.

Organized by the Women’s Padel Association (WPA) and the International Padel Players Association (IPPA), the series seeks to elevate opportunities for female athletes. Alenna Dawn, founder of the WPA, described the occasion as “both a proud and defining moment.” She added, “This is about creating a future where women are given the platform, visibility, and professional pathways they deserve. We are honored that this global movement begins here in Manila.”

Complementing the main tournament, the Women’s Challenger will run parallel, inviting emerging players from across the nation to compete alongside professionals. This structure fosters grassroots development and raises standards in women’s padel. Lucía Sainz, IPPA president, noted, “The Philippines is an exciting and dynamic market for padel, and launching the Women’s Padel Series in Manila highlights the country’s growing role in the international sporting landscape. Together with WPA, we are committed to ensuring that female athletes are supported, represented, and empowered at every level.”

Oxdog joins as the Founding Performance Partner, providing expertise to set global benchmarks for the sport. The Manila Padel Club will host the event, demonstrating the Philippines’ capability for high-caliber international competitions. After Manila, the series plans to expand to other Philippine cities, integrating sport with tourism and positioning the nation as a hub for women’s athletics.

This launch arrives amid growing momentum for women’s sports, offering visibility and investment to inspire future Filipina athletes.
