The event kicks off on December 5, 2025, and continues until January 4, 2026, featuring immersive decorations in the Main Atrium with iconic characters like SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star.
This year marks a milestone as the New Year's Eve celebration is held for the first time on the rooftop area of the third floor. The music group SM*SH will entertain visitors with singing and dancing sessions, culminating in a fireworks display to usher in 2026. Additionally, singer Rony Parulian is scheduled to perform at the Main Atrium on January 3, 2026, to wrap up the holiday series.
Bayu Tunggul Aji, General Manager of Mall Operations at AEON Mall BSD City, expressed his enthusiasm for the event. "This year is a special moment for us because it's the first time we're hosting the New Year's celebration on the rooftop. Moreover, we're extending the New Year's festivities until January 3 with special performances. We hope all visitors can enjoy the turn of the year with full joy," Bayu said on December 8, 2025.
Visitors can participate in shopping programs via the mall's app to earn rewards such as shopping vouchers. On New Year's Eve, special prizes like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 will be available for those with entry stamps to the rooftop area. "Various shopping programs can be joined by customers to get attractive rewards, starting from Magical Present From The Sea which offers chances to win shopping vouchers. On New Year's Eve, we're also preparing prizes including shopping vouchers up to Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 for customers with rooftop entry stamps," Bayu added.
From December 3 to 24, 2025, the mall is collecting donations of cash and usable clothing for disaster victims in Sumatra, adding a social dimension to the event.
