Summer warmth expected across much of the country next week

SMHI forecasts that summer is approaching with temperatures up to 20 degrees starting Wednesday.

After a period of unstable weather, warmth looks set to arrive across large parts of Sweden.
Moa Hallberg, meteorologist at SMHI, says temperatures could reach 20 degrees and a degree or two higher in places.
Some uncertainty remains for northern Norrland where a precipitation area may bring lower temperatures on Wednesday.

A high-pressure system from the south is expected to bring temperatures above 30 degrees in southeastern Sweden from Thursday, according to SMHI.

Meteorologists forecast high summer heat this weekend with sun and temperatures up to 27 degrees in parts of Sweden.
