Tortorella returns to Stanley Cup final after 22 years

John Tortorella has guided the Vegas Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup final, 22 years after his last appearance with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Tortorella took over as head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights on March 29 after the team replaced Bruce Cassidy. The move came during a slump that saw Vegas drop to an 8–15–4 record. Since then the team has improved defensively and swept the Colorado Avalanche 4–0 in the Western Conference final.
