The Westford Academy girls ski team placed seventh at the MIAA Nordic State Championships held on Tuesday at Prospect Mountain Ski Area in Woodford, Vermont. Led by Sophia Huesgen's 11th-place finish, the team scored 140 points. Mount Greylock claimed the team title with 31 points.

Sophia Huesgen led the Ghosts with an 11th-place finish, clocking a time of 25:28.5 seconds. Nina Pierson followed in 41st place with 29:04.2, while Eliza Owen took 53rd at 30:26.0, Natalie Eckroth 56th at 30:36.5, Abby Owen 65th at 31:47.3, Ella Raker 77th at 33:24.3, Isabel Huesgen 78th at 33:27.1, and Erin Driscoll 79th at 33:27.4.
Mount Greylock dominated the girls' competition, winning the team title with 31 points. In the boys' division, Mount Greylock also captured first place with 31 points, while Westford Academy finished 17th with 292 points. The Ghosts' top performer was Lochlainn Stevenson in 72nd place at 26:42.7, supported by Matthew Skeya (83rd, 27:20.7), Jakoby Dickson (85th, 27:25.1), Connor Billington (94th, 28:17.4), Gregory Hennessy (95th, 28:25.4), and Joshua Meldrum (96th, 28:25.8).
This event marked a solid performance for Westford Academy in the state-level Nordic skiing competition, highlighting individual efforts amid team placements.
