A 17-year-old collided with a car on the B75 in Ratzbek on Wednesday afternoon and suffered serious back injuries. A rescue helicopter took her to the university hospital in Lübeck. Police reported no life-threatening danger.
The accident occurred around 3:29 p.m. The teenager was riding an e-scooter and attempted to cross the federal road when she overlooked a vehicle with right of way.
The car driver came from the direction of Hamberge and could not brake in time. The e-scooter rider hit the passenger side of the vehicle.
The injured person was flown by helicopter to the emergency department. The police control center confirmed that she is not in life-threatening condition.
