Jakarta – On Thursday (4/12/2025), Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman released 207 trucks of logistics aid to support communities affected by floods and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The value of today's shipment reaches Rp34.8 billion, while the overall total aid is Rp75 billion reported to the President.
"Kementan peduli bersama mitra strategis.
The aid includes rice, cooking oil, sugar, mineral water, milk, sausages, instant noodles, sardines, coffee, tea, clothing, sanitary pads, and eggs, mostly ready-to-eat items for the emergency response phase. Sources are government reserves, Kementan employee contributions, and business partners. Details include donations of 25 tons of rice, 35 tons of cooking oil, 38 tons of sugar, 1,780 cartons of milk, and 2,480 cartons of mineral water.
Shipments via two routes: sea using TNI AL warships and air with C-130 Hercules aircraft from Halim Airport to Padang. Three initial trucks (3 tons) sent by air for priority points. Previously, Rp3 billion for Tapanuli Tengah, Rp67.5 billion rice (5,000 tons) for Aceh, and Rp7.16 billion cooking oil, bringing the total to Rp107.6 billion.
Efforts emphasize fast distribution without bureaucracy, including helicopter use for isolated areas.
