Amazon Games Evaluates New Lord of the Rings Concepts

Amazon Games is reviewing prototypes for potential new The Lord of the Rings titles after canceling its planned MMO.

Amazon Games general manager Jeff Gattis discussed ongoing evaluations in a recent Polygon interview.  “I looked at a prototype as something pretty interesting just a couple of weeks ago,” Gattis said. “We’re just evaluating different concepts, but unfortunately, I don’t have a hard ‘This is what we’re going to do’ I can give you today.” The company previously stated ambitions to create high-quality entertainment products for the Middle-earth IP. No specific new projects have been confirmed.
