Belo Horizonte inaugurates Integrated Center for the Protection of Children and Adolescents

The Minas Gerais Court of Justice inaugurates the Integrated Center for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in Belo Horizonte on Wednesday.

The CIPCA was installed in the Santa Efigênia neighborhood at Rua Paraíba, 25. The 12-floor structure concentrates legal, psychosocial and expert services in one location.

The center adopts separate accesses for victims, witnesses and defendants, plus a monitoring system to increase security. The inauguration takes place at 2 p.m. and integrates the Specialized Court for Crimes against Children and Adolescents.

According to the TJMG, the centralization of services should speed up care and offer more qualified support to victims and witnesses of violence.
