Bangalore Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) is boosting its biomethanation infrastructure in Bengaluru to turn wet waste into biogas, with new large-scale projects planned. The agency has initiated construction of four decentralised biomethanation plants. Two plants in Koramangala and Banasawadi wards have been completed and are ready for operation, while those in Anjanapura and A. Narayanapura wards remain under construction.
