Black Ops 7's Endgame mode becomes available to all players soon

Treyarch has announced that the Endgame mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be accessible to everyone starting November 21, 2025, without requiring campaign completion. The mode, a co-op RPG-extraction shooter set on an open-world island, has received positive feedback from early players. Those who finished the campaign early will receive bonuses like XP tokens and Gobblegums.

Announcement Details

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, launched on November 14, 2025. The game's Endgame mode, initially locked behind completing the single-player campaign, will open to all players on November 21, 2025. Previously, access required finishing the campaign or joining a lobby hosted by someone who had.

Treyarch shared the update via Twitter, stating: "We’ve seen an awesome response to Endgame from players who’ve already been dropping in, so we’re making it available to everyone in #BlackOps7 starting Friday, Nov. 21. Team up with other players to complete objectives, increase your power, earn unique Weapon Camos, and take on…"

Mode Description

Endgame takes place on the Avalon map, an open-world island from the campaign. Players, in squads of up to four (supporting 1-32 total participants), wingsuit in and tackle zones of increasing difficulty on foot or with vehicles. Completing missions builds power, unlocks loot, and leads to extraction challenges. Successful extractions allow retaining gear; failure means restarting. Inspired by extraction shooters but less punishing, it emphasizes Black Ops 7's combat in a co-op format.

Rewards for Early Access

Players who completed the campaign and accessed Endgame before the change will get double XP tokens and Perkaholic Gobblegums as bonuses, rewarding their effort.
