The Cadillac Formula 1 team is bringing a new upgrade package to this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. The updates include new sidepods and floor for the MAC-26 car.
Cadillac entered Formula 1 as a backmarker but has shown steady progress through regular updates. Earlier changes to the rear wing and exhaust came in Monaco, followed by further rear wing and cooling improvements in Barcelona.
Team principal Graeme Lowdon highlighted the challenges of the busy schedule. "The races now come along in rapid succession, and meeting that logistical element while improving our competitive performance is one of the key challenges of this part of the year," he said.
Driver Sergio Perez noted ongoing gains. "Every race it feels that we’re making progress," he said, adding that the rate of development remains strong ahead of Silverstone next week.
