Carmella Garcia Joins Real Housewives of Orange County Cast

Bravo announced on Thursday that former Playboy Playmate of the Year Carmella Garcia will join the cast of season 20 of Real Housewives of Orange County.

The network described Garcia as a self-proclaimed girl's girl in its press release. She previously worked as a real estate broker and is married to former NFL quarterback Jeff Garcia.

In 2004 Garcia faced charges after a bar fight at Tramp nightclub in August. She was accused of kicking Kristen Hine during the incident but was acquitted of misdemeanor assault.

Garcia was convicted of violating a protection order. The judge ordered her to complete 24 hours of community service, serve one year of probation and pay a $150 fine.

Jeff Garcia testified that his wife acted in self-defense during the altercation.
