In the opening matchups, No. 1 Strasburg beat No. 32 Salida 73-47. No. 2 Forge Christian topped No. 31 Manual 70-46, while No. 3 Banning Lewis Academy defeated No. 30 Frontier Academy 81-56. No. 4 Yuma won against No. 29 Lyons 70-33, and No. 5 Peyton edged No. 28 Platte Valley 71-63.
