Cuban President Calls to Resist and Triumph at Workers Congress

Cuba's president addressed the 22nd Congress of the Cuban Workers' Federation, stressing resistance to the US blockade and ongoing economic and social transformations.

The event took place in Pinar del Río under the slogan “For Cuba, Together We Create”. The president noted that the congress was timely amid the nation's complex economic and energy conditions.

He highlighted workers' participation in decisions and quoted that conscious unity helps overcome difficulties. He mentioned the impact of the United States blockade, which has caused blackouts and paralyzed industries.

The leader reiterated that the transformations aim to save the Revolution without restoring capitalism. He explained the use of Cuban Artificial Intelligence to streamline processes and the need for a legal framework ensuring transparency.

He also addressed the recent consultation on the Labor Code, in which more than two million workers participated between September and November 2025.
