Dyson has unveiled its first-ever handheld fan, the HushJet Mini Cool, featuring a quiet air projection system. The device delivers powerful airflow from a compact design and will be available starting tomorrow in select colors. Priced at $100, it offers up to six hours of battery life on a single charge.
Dyson revealed the HushJet Mini Cool on Wednesday, marking the company's entry into handheld fans. The fan employs Dyson's proprietary HushJet air projection technology, previously featured in an air purifier noted for its quiet operation. It produces focused airflow reaching 25 meters per second, equivalent to 55 miles per hour, powered by a brushless motor spinning up to 65,000 RPM. Weighing just 7.5 ounces, the device can be placed on a desk, held in hand, or worn around the neck for portable cooling during heat waves or daily use. It includes five speed settings plus a boost mode, USB-C charging, and a included charging stand, with a rechargeable battery providing up to six hours of runtime. The HushJet Mini Cool is priced at $100, available in gray, red, and blue colorways. The gray version goes on sale tomorrow, followed by red in May and blue in June.
