Eve Hewson is over the dating grind. The 34-year-old actress opened up about why she skips the scene despite occasional pangs to couple up.
Eve Hewson thinks dating is "too much pressure." The Disclosure Day star told the Sunday Times Style she sometimes wonders if it is time to meet someone but quickly remembers why she hates it.
"Who the f*** goes on dates any more?" she said. "I’m not good at sitting across from someone and being like, ‘So …’ It’s too much pressure." Her nonstop travel for work only makes it worse.
Even if sparks fly she is usually jetting off for months. "Nice to meet you, I’m leaving for six months," she joked. "Then you come back and they’re married with a child."
As Bono’s daughter the Perfect Couple actress admits fame feels overrated and she never chased it. She also pushes back on the idea that women must pause careers at 35 for kids while men keep climbing.
