Firefox adds local PDF merging to browser viewer

Mozilla has updated Firefox with a new feature that lets users combine PDF files directly in the browser without relying on external websites. The capability arrived in the Firefox 151 release and keeps all processing on the user's device.

Firefox's PDF viewer already supported annotations, form filling, drawing, image insertion and digital signatures. The latest addition allows merging multiple documents while preserving privacy by avoiding uploads to third-party servers.
