Ben DiNucci expects the Pittsburgh Steelers offense to become more entertaining in the 2026 season under Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers.
DiNucci, a former McCarthy quarterback who grew up in Pittsburgh, shared his outlook in comments reported on July 15. He highlighted the additions of running back Rico Dowdle and wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Germie Bernard as key improvements.
"If I know anything about Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers, they’re gonna throw the ball. It’s going to be fun," DiNucci said. He noted that McCarthy will give Rodgers significant control at the line of scrimmage and praised Dowdle’s prior production of 1,373 scrimmage yards.
DiNucci also suggested the AFC North could feature multiple playoff teams in 2026, similar to the NFC West in the prior season. The Steelers have not finished in the top 10 in total offense since 2018.
