Fox has unveiled a teaser trailer for its upcoming Baywatch series, which continues the story of the original lifeguard drama. The footage highlights slow-motion beach scenes and introduces key characters ahead of the January 2027 premiere.
The new series follows Hobie Buchannon, now serving as Baywatch captain, whose life changes when his daughter Charlie Vale arrives seeking to join the family tradition. Stephen Amell stars as Hobie, with Jessica Belkin playing Charlie.
Additional cast members include Hassie Harrison as Nat, Shay Mitchell as Trina, and others in regular roles. David Chokachi returns as Cody Madison, while Michael Bergin and Kelly Packard will make guest appearances.
The first season is set to include 12 episodes. The original Baywatch ran from 1989 to 2001 after its initial NBC run and syndication revival.
