Guido Giana resigns as Secretary of Administrative Management in Health Ministry

Guido Giana stepped down for personal reasons. Rodrigo Sbarra will replace him in the coming hours.

Guido Giana, Secretary of Administrative Management at the Health Ministry and considered the number two in the portfolio, resigned for personal reasons. The official had taken the post in November 2025.

Rodrigo Sbarra, previously Undersecretary of Administrative Coordination, will be appointed in his place through the Official Gazette. The government stated that the leadership line of the Health Ministry will not change.

Giana’s departure raises to more than 200 the number of officials who have left their posts since the start of Javier Milei’s administration. Giana maintained close ties with Santiago Caputo and with Minister Mario Lugones.
