GM Hikaru Nakamura claimed victory in the July 18 Bullet Brawl on Chess.com. He finished with 168 points after a late surge in the two-hour arena.
Nakamura overtook early leaders including IM Reza Mahdavi and GM Oleksandr Bortnyk to secure first place. He defeated several top competitors in the closing stages, including an eight-game winning streak.
IM Faustino Oro took second place, six points behind Nakamura. Bortnyk and GM Ediz Gurel finished third and fourth.
FM Anastasia Avramidou received the best women's prize. The event offered a $1,000 prize fund, with Nakamura earning $400.
Nakamura now holds 13 titles in 2026. The next Bullet Brawl is scheduled for July 25.
