DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn posted an image of Lex Luthor's purple and green warsuit from the set of the upcoming film Man of Tomorrow. The suit, based on Kryptonian power armor, is designed to help the character battle Superman on more equal terms.
Gunn shared the image on June 1 with the caption “Fit check. Live from the set of Man of Tomorrow.” The design features a familiar color scheme with more green than purple and appears bulkier than earlier comic versions. It draws from the cover of Action Comics No. 544, where Luthor uses similar armor for revenge against the Man of Steel.
