Journey adds 40 dates to final frontier farewell tour

Journey has extended its Final Frontier farewell tour with 40 additional North American dates. The new leg starts September 12 in Los Angeles and ends November 28 in San Francisco.

Journey founder and guitarist Neal Schon highlighted the strong audience response in a statement. He noted the powerful experience of fans singing along to the band's songs after many years on the road. The group plans to visit even more cities this fall without an opening act, allowing for longer sets that include major hits and lesser-known tracks from their catalog.
