Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa announced the death of his younger brother Silas Barasa on Sunday after a short illness.

Governor Barasa described his brother as a humble and kind-hearted man known for his generosity.

"It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my younger brother, Silas Barasa, following a short illness," the governor stated.
