Kneecap, Teddy Swims and Wet Leg headline new additions to Romania's Electric Castle 2026 festival. The acts join previously announced headliners The Cure and Twenty One Pilots for the event at Bánffy Castle from July 16 to 19.
Electric Castle 2026, the 12th edition of the Transylvanian festival, has revealed its full line-up featuring over 200 artists across alternative, electronic and pop genres. Newly announced performers include Kneecap, Teddy Swims and Wet Leg, whose set marks the band's first performance in Romania. Other additions are Chase & Status, Nothing But Thieves, Yung Lean and Bladee, Sleaford Mods, Maverick Sabre, Eliza Rose, SG Lewis, Kid Kapichi and Just Mustard. Keanu Reeves will play bass for Dogstar, while reggae acts Dub Pistols and Congo Natty featuring Blackout JA, amapiano DJs Skyla Tylaa and Rosey Gold, and producer Quantic round out the bill. Headliners The Cure and Twenty One Pilots were confirmed in October. Tudor Costinaș, Head of Communications at Electric Castle, stated: “We are so excited to finally share the full line-up for Electric Castle 2026. Every year we try to build a line-up that feels genuinely wide-ranging, bringing together huge global names alongside artists people might be discovering for the first time, and we feel this is a fantastic example of just that. Electric Castle is always filled with interesting twists and turns, fun surprises and good times together. We can’t wait to meet everyone back at the castle again for our 12th edition this summer.” Kneecap's appearance follows their album ‘FENIAN’, due April 24 via Heavenly Recordings, and a five-star reviewed Wembley Arena show last September. Teddy Swims' 2025 album ‘I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2)’ earned a four-star NME review. Wet Leg's ‘Moisturizer’, released last July, received praise from NME and Grammy nominations.
