Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson criticizes the lack of scrutiny of the Red-Green alternative in Ekot’s Saturday interview. He points to the opinion polls ahead of the September 13 election.
In the interview Kristersson stresses that too few are seriously examining what a left-wing government would mean for the economy and security. He says everyone knows what the Tidö parties have achieved, but no one knows what a left-wing government would mean. According to SCB’s party sympathy survey the Social Democrats, Left Party and Green Party have support for their own majority. The Tidö parties collect 40.1 percent while the Liberals stand at 2.5 percent. Kristersson also comments on ministerial posts in a possible new Tidö government. He says it is not given that party size will determine the distribution. SD leader Jimmie Åkesson has previously demanded three of the five top posts for his party.
