Laura Marling releases children's album of Raffi covers

Laura Marling has released a new album of children's songs. The 17-track collection titled Laura Sings Raffi came out on June 5.

The British singer-songwriter surprised fans with the project, her first since the 2024 album Patterns in Repeat. It features covers of songs by Canadian children's entertainer Raffi, which Marling self-produced at home in London. Marling said the album marks a logical next step. She developed a love for Raffi's style while living in North America and aimed to respect children without patronizing them. The tracklist includes Peanut Butter Sandwich, Baby Beluga, Down by the Bay and Everything Grows. The album is available on CD and streaming platforms.
