Argentine journalist María Belén Ludueña confirmed she is expecting her first child, a boy, with her husband Jorge Macri, head of government of Buenos Aires. The announcement came via an emotional Instagram post expressing gratitude. The news spread quickly, drawing reactions from entertainment figures.
María Belén Ludueña, a host and journalist, shared the news of her pregnancy on her Instagram account on November 3, 2025. In the post, she wrote: “Felices con la noticia de tu llegada. ¡Así te esperamos! Gracias virgencita por cumplirnos el deseo y muy agradecida por todos sus rezos y estampitas que me llegan desde hace tiempo”. She accompanied the message with a red heart emoji and, minutes later, a smiling photo with Jorge Macri, hugging in anticipation of the baby.
Hours earlier, journalist Ángel de Brito had anticipated the pregnancy on the LAM program: “Belu me lo contó cuando aún no tenía un mes, pero decidieron esperar el momento justo para anunciarlo”. Ludueña confirmed it is a boy, according to later reports. The couple expects the baby in 2026, though no precise birth date details were revealed.
In May 2025, during her program Mujeres Argentinas, Ludueña had expressed her desire to become a mother in tears: “Estoy atravesando momentos difíciles. Como muchas mujeres estoy buscando convertirme en mamá y eso también afecta”. The couple married in November 2022, after meeting while working in television. In a July 2021 interview with ¡Hola! magazine, Ludueña revealed they had been living together for three and a half years and wanted to take the next step.
Figures like Virginia Gallardo and Pampita reacted with emotion in the post's comments. The relationship between Ludueña and Macri, largely kept private, began when he approached her during a column on Canal 26. Ludueña recalled on La noche de Mirtha Legrand: “Lo conocí trabajando en un programa de tele... Siempre fue respetuoso”.
