Marichelo, sister of Anahí Puente, and Jorge D’Alessio of Matute band confirmed their split after 15 years together. In an interview at Mexico City International Airport, she addressed infidelity rumors and requested privacy for her children. Jorge called the moment difficult, focusing on family well-being.
Jorge D’Alessio, son of Lupita D’Alessio and contestant on Juego de Voces 2026, confirmed his separation from Marichelo on the Hoy program. “We are separated, yes, but it’s a difficult moment for both of us; we’re handling this from a place of family love, always keeping our children in mind, seeking to do it as prudently as possible,” he stated.
Marichelo spoke to reporters at Mexico City International Airport, with her children present. “I wasn’t ready for this; it’s not easy, this complicated moment I never thought I’d live, but I don’t think I’m the only woman going through this. It’s up to me to look after my children, give them all my love and attention,” she said, requesting respect and private time.
On the infidelity rumors, she was evasive: “I’m away from social media... I can’t speak for Jorge. He’s the one who should answer you, ask him.”
The rumors originated from Javier Ceriani, who claimed Jorge had homosexual encounters in a Tulum apartment. The couple began dating in 2010, married in 2011, and had two sons: Santiago, 14, and Patricio, 11. Jorge was present at the birth of Marichelo’s first daughter from a previous relationship.
